Category B of Nova Scotia Demand immigration stream in the Express Entry was reopened for a short time on December 9th. The Government announced that it would accept applications between 175 and 225.
The NSDEE which operates on a first application to arrive approach touched its limit intake in a short time. All the candidates interested in sending an application to the stream must remain prepared, and review eligibility norms. They also need to ensure that all documentation is timely and done.
The NSDEE is meant for top-skilled persons who have education at the post-secondary level and possess sufficient qualifications to integrate well with the labor market of Nova Scotia.
Category B needs one year of full-time and continuous Paid Work Experience, in the Occupation of Opportunity list, or of 1,560 hours. Moreover, there is an equivalent norm involving part-time paid work experience, during the last six years, in that Occupation. These are the same occupations, for which employment opportunities, are available in the province.

The stream has a distinctive system of points, given to applicants who are eligible set on age, language proficiency, work experience, adaptability, and education. All Eligible possessing the desired work experience in any of the following opportunity occupations can apply to the Nova Scotia Express Entry. The NSDEE is a stream that is aligned to Express Entry and is an important part of the Nova Scotia Nominee Program which is a Provincial Nominee Program. It permits the nomination of few candidates, in Nova Scotia, to the Express Entry pool, managed by the Federal Government. Candidates belong to the Federal Government three economic immigration classes of Federal Skilled Worker Class, The Federal Skilled Trades Class, and the Canadian Experience Class. They are given a rank based on the CRS, and the successful candidate who receives the provincial nomination gets extra 600 points. This result in them, being invited to submit an application, to get PR Status in Canada, in a later draw from the pool.
Category A: It is an Employment in the province, remaining open based on an arranged job offer. It needs the support of a positive LMIA, from an employer, based in Nova Scotia. The job offer has to figure in the skill-set of O, A, or B occupation of NOC.
