Getting the Canada Express Entry Visa from India requires hard work. The visa has numerous requirements. The current requirements demand that the candidate possesses many qualities. A bachelor’s degree, sufficient work experience, and good language skills are the norm. The outcome also depends on the province which the candidate chooses after their profile reaches the Express Entry Pool.
Method of selection in the Express Entry Pool
After submitting the application to the Express Entry, the candidate has to opt for a province to receive the Notification of Interest. Ontario presents Human Capital Priorities Stream. And the requirement is that the aspirant must apply in the Express Entry. Subsequently, the Ontario government looks into the pool for such candidates who have an Express Entry score in excess of 400. After the selection of the candidate, they get the Notification of Interest. They get 45 days for applying to the e-filing portal of OINP
Here the candidate has to submit the Express Entry application
and also to the website of the PNP program, after selection. There is a payment of application fees (1,500 CAD) for applying to the e-filing portal of OINP.
After applying, they get the Provincial Nomination Certificate or else the OINP Nomination Certificate. After obtaining this certificate, candidates can use it for filing Express Entry application, with IRCC.
The OINP Nomination Certificate leads to 600 extra points. The OINP
selection norm is that the candidate must get 400 points, and also possess a Bachelor’s Degree.
What happens when candidates do not apply in the Express Entry Pool?
Manitoba follows a different application route. Additionally, there is no requirement that the application must go through the Express Entry at first. They can also apply by using the MPNP portal. An additional requirement is the creation of Expression of Interest on the website.
Moreover, when the candidate has the relevant points, they get the Letter of Advice to Apply. They are eligible to apply for the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program. They also get 60 days for providing the documents and to get the Acknowledgment of Receipt for these documents. Upon selection, they get the Approval Letter and can subsequently apply in the Express Entry. Only those get the selection is reserved for such candidates who have a distant/close relative residing in the Province. This connection is important, and the aspirants must have a relative or gain some education/experience from this area in the past.
There is a need to prove a connection to Manitoba by using the documents for work experience, a birth certificate, or the passport.
The relatives must possess the permanent resident card of the Province. Manitoba has a unique point-grid for immigration. Moreover, based on it the candidate should not be beyond 49 years in age.
Work experience that is less than one year is not eligible for points.
Candidates must score 60/100 points to get immigration here.
