Canada Immigration
Independent skilled immigrants have the highest overall salary rate; they have the highest growth rate over the first decade after coming to Canada.

The study highlighted that immigrants who migrated to Canada during the year 1988 had the lowest earnings growth rate for three years due to the economic downturn which happened in the early 1990s. Then there was the highest growth rate in the year 1994, which had experienced no economic downturn during the consecutive years.

Continuous focus on skilled migration will influence future Canadian immigration policy. This will result in overall economic growth of the country.
